OUR MISSION:
The International Leadership Charter Middle School implements an academically rigorous college preparatory curriculum that elevates students’ intellectual capacity, provides a superior middle school education to prepare our scholars for higher education.
We seek to expand students’ knowledge of international studies cultivate leadership skills with a commitment to community service, social action and civic participation in a global society. Our mission is to change lives and transform communities, one scholar at a time.
Our ultimate goal is to expand knowledge of international studies, including the social, economic and political issues that affect our daily lives, and to cultivate leadership skills with a commitment to community development, social action and participation in global economy. Our staff and faculty are dedicated to empowering the leaders of tomorrow using the best practices in education.
OUR GOALS:
Our educational goals will, without exception, strive to provide a program of study that is designed to exceed New York State performance standards with clear data-driven measures of progress. The features of our educational program include:
• Dedicated school leadership and highly qualified/certified teachers
• S.T.E.A.M Instruction and Robotics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math)
• Focus on international studies and participation in the Model United Nations Junior Ambassador’s program
• Vision for the teaching of world languages and cultures
• Instructional support in all of the core subject areas for ESL students
• Instructional Support for students with disabilities
Dear Family & Friends,
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I announce the opening of a Middle School. The International Leadership Charter Middle School will open with grade 6 and add one-grade level each year until it is a completed 6th through 8th-grade institution.
We started as a small charter school established in the Kingsbridge/Marble Hill neighborhood in 2006 and this is an amazing opportunity for growth that we have been given in the midst of a pandemic. This growth and expansion would not be possible, without the strength of our school community, the generous support of the Walton Family Foundation, and approval from SUNY CSI. It is our intention to replicate the optimal learning environment that has been the foundation of the extraordinary academic achievement at our charter high school.
I am immensely grateful for this opportunity to create more high-quality seats for students in the Bronx. I look forward to changing more lives and transforming communities, one scholar at a time.

Es con gran orgullo y entusiasmo que anuncio la apertura de una escuela Intermerdia en el otoño.
La International Leadership Charter Middle School abrirá comenzando con el sexto grado y seguuiremos agregando un nivel de grado cada año hasta que sea una institución del grado 6 hasta 8 completa.
Comenzamos con nuestra escuela secundaria como una pequeña escuela chárter establecida en el vecindario de Kingsbridge/Marble Hill en el 2006 y esta es una increíble oportunidad de crecimiento que se nos ha brindado en medio de una pandemia. Este crecimiento y expansión no sería posible sin la fortaleza de nuestra comunidad escolar, el generoso apoyo de el Walton Family Foundation y la aprobación de SUNY CSI. Es nuestra intención replicar el entorno de aprendizaje óptimo que ha sido la base del extraordinario rendimiento académico en nuestra escuela secundaria Charter, International Leadership International Charter High School.
Estoy inmensamente agradecida por esta oportunidad de ofrecer mas aprendizaje de alta calidad para los estudiantes del Bronx. Espero poder cambiar más vidas y transformar comunidades, un estudiante a la vez.
