As the world's future leaders, International Leadership CHS students learn the proper balance between freedom and responsibility through involvement with our student government, the Student Advisory Council (SAC). By participating in the SAC, our students cultivate their leadership skills, build self-confidence and self-reliance, and develop strong character and life skills.
Students who demonstrate exceptional qualities such as character and positive leadership, high academic achievement, and who no disciplinary record are selected to represent the interests of the student body during weekly SAC meetings held with the International Leadership CHS Leadership Team. Since 2007, SAC members have coordinated, sponsored, and supported over 50 events such as Leadership and Government Week, the First 100 Days of School Celebration and a variety of fundraising events. SAC members also attend board meetings and act as school ambassadors by providing tours and attending open house events for prospective students and families.
Currently, the SAC is developing a community service project in response to the student body’s desire to connect with the community and stop hunger.
