About the Role
The Secondary History Teacher will be responsible for the instructional delivery of an academically rigorous course of study and aligned to the NYSED and Charter School performance goals to assure high levels of student achievement.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver an academically rigorous course of study and aligned to our charter goals and the New York State Common Core Standards.
• Assure high levels of student engagement and achievement in accordance with our charter school's performance benchmarks.
• Communicate high academic and behavioral expectations to our scholars.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to optimizing teaching and learning.
• Manage classrooms, collect and analyze student performance data.
• Maintain constructive relationships with administration, peers, staff, parents and students.
• Actively participate in professional development activities and participate in reflective practice and implement strategies to improve teaching and learning.
• Maintain a professional appearance and deportment.
• Complete all classroom and school assignments and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner.
• Work autonomously within school established guidelines and policies.
• Respond appropriately to evaluative feedback and changes in the work setting.
• Build collaborative relationships with colleagues, share teaching insights, and coordinate student learning.

Qualifications:
• Minimum requirement – Bachelor's degree in the Content Area.

Pay range and compensation package
The compensation will be commensurate with level of experience and a record of demonstrated success. We are seeking an individual of outstanding quality with a track record of positive outcomes. Salary Range: $65,000.00-$85,000.00.

International Leadership Charter High School seeks energetic, dependable, and student-centered Recreational and Fitness Specialists to support the school's Physical Fitness and Athletics Partnerships. The Recreational and Fitness Specialists will provide structured athletic instruction, skill development, and recreational programming that promotes healthy lifestyles, academic success, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among middle school students.

Position Duties and Essential Responsibilities 
• Collaborate and facilitate engaging recreational and athletic activities for middle school students with the school’s physical fitness partners.
• Reinforce the fundamentals, rules, and sportsmanship of various boys' and girls' athletic programs in collaboration with the school’s athletic partnerships.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that encourages participation from students of all skill levels.
• Reinforce school expectations regarding attendance, behavior, respect, accountability, and academic achievement.
• Supervise students during practices, recreational periods, competitions, and school-sponsored athletic events.

• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Reporting Structure
The Part-Time Recreational and Fitness Specialist reports directly to the school’s Principal. This position pays $25/hour for a minimum of six hours per week while the program is in session, (4-6 weeks Fall and Spring semesters.
